Can Mr. Hu And Mr. Wen of China Be Trusted?
There was an article on boxun.com about a debate on China's politics held by some people here in the States who care about it.
I live in America and my future is in America. I have quit much concern about China’s politics but there has been too much injustice going on.
So here is my comment: If I got to vote, I would not vote for anyone of 太子党(TZD) of China. It is a principle. The English word "Princelings" sounds too good for 太子党(TZD) of China. Those TZD in power today just simply make wrong right and right wrong. It is not the case they do not know what is right and what is wrong.
I guess most Americans know the choice of less evil. When people here in America face the issue of China's politics, do we follow the same standard?
I believe Mr. Hu Jintao and Mr. Wen Jiabao are good people. I believe at least among those people in power in China they are better and less cruel than Mr. Jiang Zemin and Mr. Li Peng, they are more rational and reasonable than those guys Mr. Jiang put into standing committee, and they are more humane than those top Chinese military generals promoted by Mr. Jiang. I also believe they are better than Mr. Xi Jinping, who is a TZD.
Among those issues debated, noticeably the killing of Tibetans, the ignorance of those who set themselves on fire in the region of Tibet, the stability-keeping in China nation-wide, high political pressure and the crack-down of dissidents, are just blame put onto Mr. Hu and possibly also onto Mr. Wen.
Looking back from today, Mr. Hu and Mr. Wen have never really been in power, they have never had power to stop the killing of Tibetans and all other forms of crack-down. No one voted for Mr. Hu to continue to be in the position of Chairman of Military Committee is just another strong evidence and proof that Mr. Hu has never been really in power, thus he and Mr. Wen should be responsible for none of above accusations.
Actually both Mr. Hu and Mr. Wen always appreciate good American heritage. In his speech in Yale University, Mr. Hu said if the time could be reversed, he would want to come to the University to be a student. Mr. Hu also has personal trust and appreciation towards conservative American Christians. There are some Christian believers who resigned from their high income positions of attorney in Texas and volunteered to work in and support an orphanage in a low-income region in China. Mr. Hu personally visited them and showed his thankfulness, care and support to them and their endeavor.
Many months ago there was an announcement also in boxun.com which proclaimed China will never seek military expansion and war preparation. It was deleted in one or two days. I believe it was a proclamation authorized by Mr. Hu Jintao who was then holding the official title of the Chairman of Military Committee of Communist Party of China. Even if it was just a proclamation, I believe Mr. Hu Jintao and Mr. Wen Jiabao should be awarded Nobel Peace Prize for its publication.
Watching from America, Mr. Hu, Mr. Wen and people like them, those rational and well-educated intellectuals are more likely to be those people in China whom Americans want to work with.
